Our Story: A Family Tradition

My interest in cars sparked early on through my father. He owned an auto body & mechanical shop in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago since 1979. 

Eventually, I went on to earn a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  

My passion in automotive body rebuilding and in  mechanical repairs led me to open my own shop– 

J & F Auto Rebuilders in 1989.

To date, we have serviced more than 100,000 vehicles from all makes and models.

Our goal? To provide exceptional work and quality customer service.
